About the Role
We're looking for a Product Operations Manager to scale Murphy. We need someone to deploy into new territory, impose order on chaos, and stand up the operation — then do it again in the next market. You'll own the expansion playbook, partners and vendors, product quality, and enable x1,000 growth of the company that proved its product-market-fit. This is a founder's right hand on execution and operations, with outsized leverage over where the company goes.
Murphy builds AI voice agents that collect overdue debt for banks: more recovered, faster, cheaper, fully compliant, and respectful to the debtor. We're live with Santander, Revolut, BBVA, and dozens of others. We've proven the product in large-scale pilots with top-tier banks — now we're taking it into every market and every adjacent business, and we need someone to own that expansion end to end.

What you'll do
- Productise expansion. Turn a new country from a bespoke project into a repeatable playbook: localized voice, policies, compliance per market, so we go live in weeks, not quarters.
- Be the operating system of the product org. Own the planning cadence, the metrics, and the prioritisation across bets, so a small team makes big, fast, well-sequenced calls.
- Dive deep and problem solve. Get to the roots of complex problems, understand all the nuances, and design solutions that solve the root cause elegantly.
Who you are
- A builder and an operator. You've converted uncertainty and chaos into a well-oiled execution machine — a process, a team, or a function — whether as a founder, an operations lead, a PM, or a military officer who's stood up and led an operation under pressure.
- You own outcomes, and you never settle. You hold people accountable and demand a high execution excellence bar under speed.
- You have a STEM degree, and you were top of your class. You're technical, rigorous with numbers, and have a strong philosophy of a champion.
- AI-native, ruthless on quality. You reach for AI to automate and streamline by default — and you know exactly where it gets sloppy. You never let that through, and you control quality rigorously.
- You don't need a collections or fintech background. We'd rather teach the domain to a killer than hire a lifer who can't ship — you'll pick up regulation, unit economics, and a new market cold, fast.

Our Process
- First Interview – Getting to Know You A conversation with a future teammate who’s excited to find a new colleague. We’ll talk about your story, what drives you, and what you’re looking for next—no trick questions, just a genuine exchange.
- Second Interview – Deep Dive You’ll meet the Hiring Manager and potentially another team member. This is a more technical discussion where we explore your skills in detail, walk through real scenarios, and answer any questions you might have about the role.
- Tech Assessment or Business Case A practical exercise to see how you approach challenges similar to those you’d tackle at Murphy. You’ll have time to reflect and showcase your thinking—no rush, no surprises.
- Call with the Founders Our founders meet every team member and it’s a great opportunity for you to learn about the company and its direction.
