Product Owner – Digital Trading

£650 per day | Outside IR35 | 6 months | London / Hybrid - 3 days per week

The Role

We are supporting a specialist organisation within the London insurance market with the continued development and optimisation of an established digital trading platform.

They are looking for an experienced Product Owner to take end-to-end ownership of the product, working closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to drive its ongoing development.

This role requires someone who understands both digital product delivery and the way business is transacted within the London insurance market. Strong London Market experience will therefore be critical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the product roadmap, backlog and development priorities.
  • Define the ongoing direction of the digital trading platform in partnership with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Gather, challenge and translate business requirements into clear product features and outcomes.
  • Act as the primary interface between business users and technical delivery teams.
  • Prioritise enhancements based on user requirements, commercial value and business objectives.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of product requirements and delivery.
  • Champion user experience, functionality and commercial outcomes across the platform.
  • Define acceptance criteria and support testing and implementation.
  • Ensure new functionality aligns with London Market trading and broking processes.
  • Make independent product decisions and maintain momentum throughout delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
