Role Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to help shape the future of customer promotions and loyalty at B&Q. Playing a key role in the implementation of our new Talon.One promotions and loyalty platform, you will work across Promotions, eCommerce, Commercial, Loyalty and Customer Experience teams to translate business needs into product capabilities and drive the rollout of new customer experiences.
This is an exciting opportunity to operate at the intersection of product, technology and business change, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, capability development, roadmap planning and maximising the value of our technology investments.
What's the job?
- Act as B&Q's Product Owner and subject matter expert for Talon.One and related promotions capabilities.
- Represent the B&Q banner within the Promotions migration programme, working closely with programme, engineering, commercial and loyalty teams.
- Prioritise business requirements, ensuring solutions align to customer and commercial objectives.
- Translate Talon.one platform capabilities into practical business opportunities and future roadmap initiatives.
- Work with stakeholders to identify how promotions and loyalty processes, ways of working and customer experiences can evolve through new capabilities.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Architects and external partners to support delivery and adoption.
- Support backlog management and prioritisation where required across Loyalty and Promotions initiatives.
- Drive business readiness, stakeholder engagement, training and operational adoption activities.
- Use customer, commercial and operational data to inform product decisions and identify improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with Product Owners from across Kingfisher banners to share knowledge, learn from successful implementations, and contribute to the resolution of cross-banner challenges.

What we need:
- Experienced Product Owner with a track record of delivering complex products and building deep expertise across business processes, customer journeys and technology platforms.
- Skilled at translating technical capabilities into clear business outcomes, customer value and actionable product requirements.
- Strong communicator and stakeholder manager, able to build trusted relationships, influence decision-making and provide constructive challenge across business and technology teams.
- Confident working collaboratively with delivery teams, programme stakeholders, suppliers, external partners and Product Owners across the wider Kingfisher Group.
- Experience operating within large-scale transformation programmes, managing dependencies and navigating complex organisational change.
- Passionate about customer engagement, loyalty, promotions, CRM and customer experience, with a keen interest in how technology can drive business growth and customer value.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments, balancing short-term delivery priorities with longer-term strategic objectives.
- Analytical and highly organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
- Naturally curious, with a passion for learning new technologies, understanding complex business domains and continuously improving ways of working.
- Pragmatic and solution-focused, bringing together customer, business and technical perspectives to move initiatives forward and overcome challenges.
- Proactive and adaptable, thriving in evolving environments where priorities and requirements may change as programmes develop.
