Product Owner

Permanent

Farringdon, London - Hybrid

What is the role?

We are looking for our next Product Owner who will be responsible for one of our connected mobility products at Toyota Connected Europe. Depending on your experience and interests, you will either look after established products, continue to build out the roadmap, ensuring reliability and compliance, and ensuring value to our customers; or you will take new, innovative ideas and shape them into products that can be built and launched. Either way, you’ll work on real products used by real customers.

Either comes with a strong sense of ownership, you will be responsible for setting the direction of the product, challenging how it could and should be improved, and build the case for investment. You will operate across the full lifecycle, whether that is a new product or new features on an established one, from ideation and initial scoping, through go-to-market, and then into the operational phase.

What will you do?

  • Own a backlog, turning customer and business needs into clear epics and user stories with testable acceptance criteria that engineering teams can estimate and deliver
  • Work with a wide range of stakeholders including engineering, data science, commercial, as well as other Toyota entities and customers to agree priorities, outcomes and trade offs
  • Understand the connected data that underpins your product: where it comes from, how it flows through our platform, its quality and limitations, where it could be used to further enhance products, legal and governance requirements and then use this information to make sound product decisions
  • Run regular reviews so that cross functionally there is a shared understanding of what is being built and why

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
