Product Owner (Outside IR35)
Product Owner (Outside IR35) needed for a Commodities trading firm who specialise in Freight, LNG & Logistics trading. The Commodities trading house connects physical LNG & Freight demand across international markets, leveraging market intelligence, trading expertise and sophisticated logistics capabilities to identify and capture commercial opportunities.
As a Product Owner you will work with the business (internal traders) to take on day-to-day product management of a set of digital products used by the trading team, and in some cases, the digital products used by their clients.
As a Product owner you will work closely with the traders, as well as their external providers (such as operators and ports etc…) making sure what is built helps do business. Owning the delivery roadmap, shaping requirements, writing stories and running refinement with the engineering team, to make sure delivery doesn’t stand still.

- Salary: Up to £600/Day Outside IR35
- Location: 2-3 days in the office based in London City
- Duration: 6 months (with likely extension of 3) for paternity cover
- Requirements: Knowledge of Physical Trading, Freight, LNG, Logistics.
You'll own the day-to-day product management, working closely with key stakeholders in the business to gather and shape requirements, managing through stages of refinement, so there is no delay to the development team. Involvement in prioritisation discussions, closely monitor the products including tracking and reviewing metrics.

Given the fact that this is working for a trading firm who not only trade themselves, but also on behalf of clients, you’ll act as the main point of contact for internal traders, as well as managing adhoc external client requests, for additional functionality or customisation to client facing platforms.
