Lockton Product Owner
Lockton are currently recruiting a Product Owner to join the team to service a key platform, Acturis.
Role purpose
The Product Owner is focused on supporting the Lead Product Owner, through collaboration with key business stakeholders, and supporting the short- and long-term vision and strategy for Lockton and its instance of the Acturis platform. They will partner with the UK business, Technology and Digital divisions and our delivery partners to drive the adoption of Acturis and enhance the platform in support of Lockton’s ongoing growth and strategic needs.
The Product Owner will be creating document templates, helping with configuration set up and helping with migration mapping and Testing. At point of Go Live they will be training the platform out to all new users in line with the project plan.
Once the System is live they will be responsible for maintaining the document template library, assisting users in day to day queries, conducting both new user training and ongoing learning modules and testing new functionality releases and advising the business on its use.

Reporting to the Lead Product Owner they will play an important role in the future strategy and delivery of the platform and with the role primarily focused on the UK operation.
Responsibilities
- Support the roadmap and strategic vision for the platform
- Delivery of the product backlog ensure that backlog items/user stories/requirements are well written, understood, capture business value.
- Communicate product vision to the wider business and technology – ensure they understand the goals, clearly communicate business requirements, work with them during the development cycle to ensure that requirements are understood, and features are being developed as expected, contribute towards team improvements in terms of practices, delivery, training and adoption
- Engage with users of the product – proactively get feedback on features, usability, ideas for future development.
- Liaise and coordinate with other teams where required e.g., Training, Internal Marketing & Comms, Operations etc.

About the Role
- Support and help drive integration efforts with third-party systems as well as activities related to data migration
- Support for execution, prioritisation and business strategy for the product
- Support for partnering with the business to identify key requirements and ensure initiatives are embedded with the business for successful adoption
- Support for maximising the investment made in the product, ensure adoptions and capabilities are delivered to take the business forward
About You
- Previous experience as a Support/Delivery Manager of Acturis
- Insurance experience
- Experience driving adoption
- Strong Communications Skills
