Introduction to the Role
As a Product Owner, you will shape agreed product directions into clear priorities, testable decisions, and valuable product increments. Reporting to the Senior Product Owner, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineering Leads, Design Leads, User Researchers, and client stakeholders to align user needs with business goals. This role offers the opportunity to drive digital transformation and influence product strategy in a fast-growing consultancy environment.
What You'll Be Working On
You will lead the backlog and roadmap for one product or value stream, turning client goals into measurable outcomes while leveraging modern practices and AI tools.

- Roadmap & Priorities: Translate agreed goals into outcome-led roadmaps, prioritizing backlog items by balancing customer value, business outcomes, technical feasibility, and delivery costs.
- Discovery & Validation: Facilitate product discovery, research, and requirements-gathering workshops to align stakeholders and test critical assumptions early.
- Client Collaboration: Build trusted relationships with clients through transparent decision-making regarding priorities, trade-offs, dependencies, and performance.
- Data & Analytics: Define and monitor KPIs using product analytics, market evidence, and customer feedback to validate hypotheses and guide continuous improvement.
- Delivery Alignment: Work alongside Project Managers, Design, and Engineering to ensure scope changes are documented, Statements of Work are respected, and releases are ready and measurable.
- AI Integration: Utilize AI capabilities to accelerate product discovery, refine backlogs, synthesize research, and share effective prompts and techniques with the wider team.

What You'll Bring to the Team
- You are an outcome-focused product practitioner who excels at balancing commercial objectives with customer value in an agile environment.
- Experience owning backlog priorities and roadmaps for digital or mobile products, ideally within a consultancy or client-facing setting.
- Proven track record in product discovery, iterative validation, and defining testable hypotheses.
- Proficiency in establishing KPIs and utilizing product analytics and user insight to inform key decisions.
- Strong workshop facilitation skills and the ability to guide client stakeholders through complex trade-offs.
- Excellent communication skills for writing clear acceptance criteria, outcomes, and requirements.
- A collaborative mindset with a track record of partnering successfully with cross-functional delivery teams.
- Enthusiasm for adopting and sharing AI tools to enhance analytical speed, documentation quality, and practice effectiveness.
