Product Owner – SaaS / AI 📍 Chesham, Buckinghamshire | Hybrid – 3 days onsite 💰 £65,000–£80,000 + performance bonus + 5% pension
A growing technology company is looking for a Product Owner to join its specialist team and play a key role in the continued development of an AI-native SaaS platform.
The business develops advanced analytics software used by major global organisations to optimise manufacturing costs, process performance, and sustainability. With a substantial proprietary dataset and a clear focus on AI-led product development, this is an opportunity to have genuine influence in a small, expert environment.
The Role You’ll sit at the centre of Product and Engineering, taking ownership of the delivery process and ensuring development teams have clear, prioritised, and execution-ready requirements.

You’ll be responsible for:
- Owning and maintaining the product backlog across Epics, Features, and Requirements
- Prioritising and refining work in line with product and business objectives
- Driving sprint readiness, planning, and delivery
- Writing clear requirements and acceptance criteria
- Working closely with Product and Engineering on scope, priorities, and trade-offs
- Providing clear visibility on delivery progress, risks, and upcoming decisions
- Using AI tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, and DevOps MCP to improve requirements and delivery workflows
- Helping embed AI-assisted product delivery into the wider development process

What they're looking for
- 3–5 years’ dedicated Product Owner experience
- Strong SaaS or technically focused product ownership background
- Proven experience with backlog management, sprint planning, and Agile delivery
- Strong ability to write detailed requirements and acceptance criteria
- Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps
- Comfortable using AI tools to support product/delivery workflows
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Please note: This role requires 3 days per week onsite in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not available.
