Location: London - Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite
Contract: 12 months
Rate: Up to £500 per day, Inside IR35
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join a major global financial services organisation, working on a large-scale Marketing Data Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Own, refine and prioritise the product backlog, including clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Translate business and stakeholder requirements into deliverable technical requirements for the engineering team.
- Balance new features with regulatory requirements, operational stability, performance improvements and technical debt.
- Work closely with marketing stakeholders around campaign performance, analytics, digital marketing integration and engagement initiatives.
- Define and communicate product priorities, roadmap and delivery strategy.
- Partner with data engineers, architects and technology teams delivering Azure-based data solutions.

Essential Experience
- Strong experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner or Business Analyst working with data platforms.
- Excellent backlog management, prioritisation, user story and acceptance criteria experience.
- Experience working with Azure-based data platforms, ideally including:
- Databricks
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Cloud
- Good understanding of data engineering concepts and the ability to work effectively with engineers and architects.
- Experience balancing functional requirements with operational, security, risk and compliance requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience managing competing business and technology priorities.
- Experience within financial services, banking or another complex regulated enterprise environment.
- Exposure to marketing data, campaign analytics, digital marketing integrations or customer data would be highly beneficial.
