We are hiring an Agile Product Owner
We are seeking to hire an experienced Agile Product Owner who is Chinese speaking. The ideal candidate is always looking for ways to improve a product or service to make it better, faster, and more user-friendly. You will have excellent attention to detail, be able to challenge and work to pace. This contract assignment is inside IR35 and to start ASAP.
About the Role
You will be responsible for maximizing the value of the client's products built by the cross-functional delivery team, owning the product backlog, and driving feature delivery from concept to launch.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and influential Product Owner, who is Chinese speaking, to drive comprehensive product delivery and planning for a group of capabilities within our client's product team.
Working closely with the Director of Product Ownership, engineering leads, and key senior stakeholders, you will drive the successful and timely realisation of product value, champion best practices, and contribute significantly to the overall product delivery strategy.

What you'll need
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in product ownership
- As a Product Owner, proven ability to translate strategic vision into comprehensive, actionable delivery plans and roadmaps for a group of capabilities
- Expertise in Agile methodologies at scale, including practices that support rapid, iterative delivery and post-launch optimisation
- Proven ability to challenge, influence, and align multiple cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders towards efficient and outcome-driven delivery
- Chinese speaking, essential, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills and strong skills in managing all levels of stakeholders
- A strong analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data and user insights to drive process improvements, measure delivery performance, and inform continuous product iteration

- Backlog Ownership: Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Scrum Masters, UX designers, and software engineers during daily sprints and planning sessions.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with editorial, commercial, and legal stakeholders to align product development with business strategy.
- Acceptance of Work: Review and accept completed work items to ensure they meet the definition of done and user expectations.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics, user feedback, and market research to inform roadmap priorities.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or PSPO preferred
- A background in media or ecommerce or digital agency is preferred but not essential
