Product Owner – Banking / Financial Services
London or Glasgow - Hybrid
£550/day Outside IR35
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join a major digital transformation programme within a leading UK financial services organisation. Working closely with Product Management, Technology and Delivery teams, you'll take the wider product roadmap and help translate it into clear priorities and deliverable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Translate product strategy and roadmaps into clear delivery priorities
- Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering and Technology teams
- Gather, understand and refine business and customer requirements
- Manage and prioritise product requirements throughout delivery
- Act as a key link between business and technology teams
- Drive delivery while maintaining alignment with the wider product vision
- Manage stakeholders across a complex transformation environment
- Support successful end-to-end delivery across multidisciplinary teams

- Strong experience working as a Product Owner
- Previous experience within banking or financial services
- Experience working on large-scale digital transformation programmes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience translating product direction and business requirements into delivery
- Ability to work effectively across business, technology and engineering teams
- Strong delivery and problem-solving skills
- Candidates with experience spanning Product Ownership, Business Analysis and Project Delivery would also be of interest.
- Wealth / Wealth Management experience advantageous but not essential.
