Product Owner – Risk & Compliance
I'm working with a leading professional services organisation that is looking for a Product Owner (Risk & Compliance) to join its growing Technology team.
This is a senior, hands-on Product role with ownership across Intapp and a wider Risk & Compliance technology portfolio, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and third-party suppliers.
The role will play a key part in the organisation’s Intapp Cloud transition, alongside the continued development of client and matter intake, conflicts, AML, identity verification, sanctions screening and wider compliance workflows.
The Role
You’ll own the how and when of delivery, translating product strategy and business priorities into a clear, prioritised backlog and deliverable outcomes.
You’ll work across a complex technology environment, balancing business needs, technical considerations, regulatory requirements and supplier dependencies to ensure products are delivered effectively and remain operationally sustainable.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and prioritise the Jira backlog and delivery roadmap, aligned to product strategy and business priorities
- Translate product objectives into epics, user stories, requirements and testable acceptance criteria
- Lead and contribute to planning, refinement, reviews and retrospectives across Agile/hybrid delivery
- Work closely with Engineering, Architecture, Data, Security and QA to understand feasibility, integrations, dependencies and technical considerations
- Act as a key product contact for business stakeholders, users, operational teams and suppliers
- Coordinate UAT, pilots, release readiness, communications and adoption
- Manage delivery priorities across Intapp Matter Opening and connected intake, conflicts, approval and integration workflows
- Support the Intapp Cloud/SaaS transition, including reviewing legacy configuration and identifying what should be carried forward
- Own delivery across Thirdfort, World-Check, BvD and exemption-management capabilities
- Translate regulatory, policy, risk and control requirements into workflows, acceptance criteria and operational processes
- Ensure releases meet required security, data, risk, compliance and operational-readiness standards
- Make delivery risks, dependencies and trade-offs visible and ensure the quality and readiness of outcomes.

Skills & Experience

- Must have 3+ years’ experience with Intapp or have directly supported an Intapp Cloud/SaaS upgrade or migration
- Experience with Intapp Matter Opening, client and matter intake and/or conflicts
- Experience across Risk & Compliance workflows, such as AML, sanctions screening and/or identity verification
- Experience as a Product Owner, Senior Product Owner or equivalent within a technology delivery environment
- Strong experience managing complex backlogs, requirements and delivery priorities
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across business, technical and operational teams
- Good technical understanding of enterprise SaaS, integrations, data flows and third-party suppliers
- Hands-on experience with Jira or a comparable delivery tool
- Experience delivering technology change within a high-control, audit-sensitive or regulated environment
- Experience within legal, professional services, financial services or another regulated environment would be particularly relevant

- Salary: £70,000
- Location: London
- Work Pattern: 3 days per week in the office
