Product Owner – SaaS Platform
£525 PD (Outside IR35)
3 Months Contract

Overview
Our client, a growing SaaS business, is seeking an experienced Product Owner to help shape and deliver the ongoing development of its software platform. Working closely with Product, Engineering, UX and commercial teams, you will translate customer and business requirements into clear priorities, ensuring development delivers measurable value.
Role and Responsibilities
- Own and prioritise the product backlog.
- Translate business and customer needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Support delivery of the product roadmap.
- Work closely with Engineering, QA and UX throughout the development lifecycle.
- Lead backlog refinement and contribute to Agile ceremonies.
- Manage stakeholder expectations around priorities, scope and delivery.
- Use customer feedback and product data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Balance individual customer requirements with wider SaaS platform needs.
- Support product discovery, release planning and continuous improvement.

- Proven experience as a Product Owner within a SaaS or software environment.
- Strong knowledge of Agile software development.
- Experience managing product backlogs, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Commercially aware with a strong customer focus.
- Experience working closely with software engineering and UX teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within B2B SaaS, APIs, integrations or product analytics would be advantageous.
