Job Title
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong Banking and Financial Services domain expertise to drive product vision, strategy, and execution across digital banking platforms and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of banking products, customer journeys, regulatory requirements, and Agile delivery methodologies.
About the Role
The Product Owner will work closely with business stakeholders, customers, architects, development teams, UX designers, and Scrum teams to define, prioritize, and deliver high-value products that meet business objectives and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and business objectives.
- Align product strategy with organizational goals and customer expectations.
- Conduct market, competitor, and customer analysis to identify opportunities.
- Drive product innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Backlog Management
- Own and manage the product backlog.
- Define and prioritize Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Ensure backlog refinement and readiness for sprint planning.
- Balance business priorities, technical debt, and compliance requirements.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business users, customers, senior leadership, and technology teams.
- Act as the primary liaison between business and delivery teams.
- Facilitate requirement workshops and product discussions.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and product outcomes.
Agile Delivery
- Work closely with Scrum Masters and development teams.
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Daily Stand-ups.
- Provide clarifications and business decisions during sprint execution.
- Ensure successful delivery of product increments.

Banking Product Management
- Define and enhance banking products and customer journeys.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives across banking platforms.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and governance standards.
- Monitor product performance and customer feedback.

Key Responsibilities from a Business Perspective
- Own product vision and value realization.
- Prioritize features based on business impact.
- Drive customer-centric product enhancements.
- Define MVPs and release strategies.
- Manage dependencies across multiple teams.
- Ensure regulatory and risk compliance.
- Support UAT and business sign-off activities.
- Track adoption, benefits realization, and operational KPIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or related field.
- 10+ years of overall experience.
- Minimum 5+ years as Product Owner/Product Manager in Banking.
- Experience working with large-scale Agile transformation programs.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM)
- Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)
- Agile Business Analyst Certification
