Our clients come from all walks of life and so do we. We are proud of our inclusive culture and encourage applications from the widest mix of talent, whatever your age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, social background and more.

About your team
As a business, we are constantly evolving how we work to stay ahead of what our clients need and to deliver on our strategic ambitions. FIL Platforms represents the next step in that journey – bringing together Asset Management Delivery, Enterprise Technology Services and change teams from across the business into a single integrated structure designed for clarity, speed and impact.
Asset Management Platforms is responsible for the design and delivery of business process and technology solutions that support the growth and evolution of Fidelity's Asset Management business. We partner with Investment Management, Asset Management Operations and Distribution teams across Hong Kong, London, Tokyo, Singapore, Australia, China and Toronto.
This role sits within the Core Value Stream - Equity and Fixed Income, supporting strategic initiatives that enhance portfolio construction, investment decision-making, analytics, order generation, execution management and investment risk capabilities across Fidelity's global investment platform.
This role will work closely with Portfolio Managers, Investment Directors, Quantitative Researchers and Investment Specialists to shape, prioritise and deliver technology capabilities that improve investment outcomes and operational efficiency.
About your role
The Product Owner is the voice of the business within the Squad and is accountable for ensuring that the team delivers the highest-value outcomes for Fidelity's Equity investment business. The role sits at the intersection of investment management, product ownership and technology delivery, translating strategic objectives and business needs into a prioritised backlog that enables squads to deliver measurable value.
Unlike a generic Product Owner role, this position requires significant domain expertise in Equity investing and front-office investment management processes. The successful candidate will be expected to understand how portfolio managers construct portfolios, manage risk, monitor performance and implement investment decisions across multiple asset classes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
