At GSK, we're combining science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together. As a Product Owner within R&D Digital & Tech, you'll play a key role in improving how scientists capture, manage and use experimental data across our global research organization.
You'll own the products and capabilities that support the experimental data journey, from planning and capturing experiments through to making data reusable for future research, advanced analytics and AI. Your work will directly improve the experience of thousands of scientists and help unlock the value of scientific data across R&D.
This is a product leadership role focused on a business capability, not a single system. As technology and scientific needs evolve, the products and teams you support may evolve too.
In this role you will
- Execute on the vision, roadmap and delivery of the Experimental Data Workflow product area.
- Partner with scientists, business stakeholders and technology teams to understand needs and translate them into valuable solutions.
- Prioritise and manage the product backlog, making clear decisions on where to invest time and resources.
- Lead agile delivery teams to deliver high-quality improvements and releases.
- Balance short-term priorities with long-term product strategy.
- Build strong relationships across R&D, acting as the bridge between science and technology.
- Drive adoption of new capabilities and continuously improve how we work.
- Ensure solutions meet quality, compliance and data governance requirements.
- Work with external partners and vendors to shape future product enhancements.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience in product ownership, product management or technology delivery.
- Proven ability to manage priorities, stakeholders and delivery in an agile environment.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Experience translating business needs into practical technology solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Pharma R&D, life sciences or regulated environments.
- Knowledge of laboratory systems, scientific data or research workflows.
- Experience working within SAFe or large-scale agile environments.
- Familiarity with data standards, data governance or FAIR data principles.
- Experience working with vendors and external partners.

Italian Salary Range / Fascia retributiva in Italia:
EUR 43,575 to EUR 72,625
The annual gross base salary range for new hires in this position is listed above for each applicable location. These ranges take into account a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position may offer an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role.
