Overview of the Team

The team consists of three Product Owners reporting to the Director of Product Management based in New York. This role, while located in London, will work closely with global stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams, supporting a highly collaborative and distributed operating model.

Role Overview

IPC One is IPC's unified platform, bringing IPC's portfolio of trading communications, directory, and connectivity capabilities together in one place. Built to evolve, IPC One is the foundation for how clients will experience IPC in the future. It will expand continuously with new products, capabilities, and personas.

We are seeking a Product Owner to own the end-to-end IPC One Platform experience. You will be responsible for how users discover, access, and move between capabilities on the platform, so that every experience delivered through IPC One feels consistent, intuitive, and part of one coherent product rather than a collection of separate tools.

The initial focus of the role includes the platform's first light trader experience (integrating IPC's flagship One Connect and One Call Directory solutions). The role reaches well beyond that first release. You will help shape the platform experience across an expanding range of personas as IPC One grows.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong product ownership fundamentals with a genuine passion for user experience and a track record of working on platform products. You will partner with Product Management, UX/Design, Engineering, and commercial teams to define, prioritize, and deliver capabilities that make IPC One easy to adopt, simple to use, and scalable across our client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product backlog for the IPC One Platform experience, spanning core platform capabilities and the persona-based experiences delivered through it.
  • Champion a consistent, user-centered experience across IPC One, so that every new capability feels like a natural part of the platform.
  • Partner closely with UX/Design to turn user insights, personas, and wireframes into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities.
  • Translate product strategy and Product Management direction into well-defined epics and user stories that balance near-term delivery with the long-term platform vision.
  • Work with Engineering to deliver high-quality platform increments aligned to sprint and PI goals.
  • Drive the evolution of the light trader experience, ensuring it establishes patterns that scale to future personas.
  • Help define and evolve the persona framework that guides priorities and experience design across the platform.
  • Work with Sales, Client Success, and end users to gather feedback, validate usability, and refine requirements.
  • Track platform adoption and user experience metrics, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and ensure backlog readiness.
  • Support documentation, release readiness, and internal communication of platform updates.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
