Product Owner – Risk & Compliance
I’m working with a leading professional services organisation that’s looking for a hands-on Product Owner – Risk & Compliance to join its Technology team.
The role centres on Intapp, including Matter Opening, client and matter intake, conflicts and approvals, with a significant focus on an upcoming Intapp Cloud / SaaS transition. You’ll own the delivery backlog, work closely with technical teams and stakeholders, and help modernise the wider Risk & Compliance technology landscape.
What You’ll Be Doing
Product Ownership & Delivery
- Own and prioritise the Jira backlog and delivery roadmap.
- Translate business objectives into epics, user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Work with Engineering, Architecture, QA, Data and Security to manage delivery, dependencies and technical trade-offs.
- Lead planning, refinement, reviews, UAT and release readiness.
Intapp & Risk Technology
- Support the Intapp Cloud / SaaS transition, reviewing existing configuration and customisation and identifying what should be retained or changed.
- Own delivery across Intapp Matter Opening, client/matter intake, conflicts, approvals and integrations.
- Support connected Risk & Compliance tools and workflows, including Thirdfort, World-Check, BvD and exemption management.
- Translate regulatory, policy and control requirements into practical workflows, testable requirements and audit-ready processes.

Stakeholder & Supplier Management
- Partner with business stakeholders, operational teams, users and third-party suppliers.
- Coordinate product changes, pilots, communications, training and adoption.
- Track delivery progress, risks, service quality and outcomes.
What I’m Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on Intapp experience in a Product Owner capacity.
- Candidates with less than 3 years of Intapp experience will be considered if they have directly supported an Intapp Cloud / SaaS upgrade or migration.
- Strong experience with Intapp Matter Opening, client/matter intake and conflicts.
- Experience as a Product Owner, Senior Product Owner or equivalent, owning backlogs, prioritisation and delivery.
- Knowledge of Risk & Compliance workflows, such as AML, sanctions screening, identity verification or conflicts.
- Strong stakeholder management and requirements-analysis skills.
- Technical understanding of enterprise SaaS, integrations, data flows and third-party products.
- Hands-on experience with Jira or comparable delivery tools.
- Experience delivering technology change in a regulated, high-control or audit-sensitive environment.

Desirable
- Experience in legal, professional services or financial services.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS migrations, reconfiguration or workflow automation.
- Familiarity with law-firm Risk & Compliance processes and product value measurement.
DISCLAIMER: Intapp experience is a key requirement for this role. For candidates with less than three years’ experience, direct involvement in an Intapp Cloud / SaaS upgrade or migration is essential. Experience migrating other SaaS platforms alone would not meet this requirement.
