Product Owner - Mobile Banking Apps - Banking
Excellent opportunity opens for an experienced Product Owner to join an International Bank during a massive digital transformation. You will be in a crucial role, owning the individual and corporate banking apps, collaborating closely with the senior stakeholders across the bank. The successful candidate will have excellent product owner experience, working on mobile apps in financial services.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop a digital product roadmap for mobile banking (Individual and Corporate Banking apps), ensuring alignment to the wider Digital Meeting Places product vision and establish an associated backlog, taking accountability for successful delivery against this with a clear user focussed, service design approach.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders from across the business including Financial Product, Technology, Group, Branches, and the control functions to understand business needs and priorities, supporting effective inclusion in your product roadmap.
- Oversee a pro-active, customer focussed, multi-disciplinary team, working with skilled specialists across insights, UX design, technology delivery, Group, security and architecture, in order to develop highly effective digital products through a process of research, ideation and design.
- Define and measure the success criteria for your digital products, creating a clear set of business outcomes that support the Bank’s wider strategic objectives.
- Establish clear feedback loops to understand the impact of your product and feed changes and improvements in to your backlog, continually reviewing, refining and prioritising the backlog to create optimal value in line with the overarching product roadmap vision and business outcomes.
- Be responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of digital products to end users, including appropriate training, communications and literature to facilitate adoption.
- Work closely with stakeholders in Group, to accelerate digital development and ensure optimal ways of working.
- Maintain and engage with a community of digitally focussed colleagues across the Bank, to help drive awareness and customer adoption of new features and services.

Experience:
- Customer-centric with a strong focus on end user experience and outcomes.
- A strong working knowledge of the Financial Services industry.
- Experience of a digital product delivery environment with exposure to, or knowledge of, agile development and change methodologies.
- Highly positive and collaborative team player, who actively engages stakeholders, supports team members, and shares knowledge with others.
- A strong understanding of what good looks like in mobile banking journeys.
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to confidently represent the Digital Product area and gain buy-in to the strategy and roadmap with a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously, often with competing priorities.
- Strong awareness of the digital banking ecosystem, keeping abreast of market trends and competitor propositions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
