Role: Product Owner NextGen IAM
Location: Sheffield, UK
Type: Contract - Inside IR35
Responsibilities:
- Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog
- Define and manage Epics, Features, and User Stories
- Gather, analyze, and refine business and technical requirements
- Define acceptance criteria and ensure clarity of delivery requirements
- Collaborate with Technical Leads and Architects to align business priorities with technical solutions
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, and Agile ceremonies
- Balance business priorities, technical debt, operational requirements, and delivery objectives
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies and delivery activities
- Engage with business stakeholders, technology partners, and engineering teams
- Support product demonstrations, testing activities, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Ensure audit, regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements are reflected in product delivery
- Monitor delivery progress, manage scope, and drive measurable business outcomes
- Facilitate communication between business and technology teams
- Support continuous improvement of product delivery processes and practices

- Strong Product Ownership and Agile Delivery experience
- Expertise in Backlog Management and Prioritization
- Strong Requirements Engineering and Business Analysis skills
- Experience defining Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria
- Strong Stakeholder Management and Communication skills
- Experience working in Financial Services or regulated environments
- Knowledge of Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Governance requirements
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams across multiple regions and time zones
- Strong facilitation, influencing, and decision-making skills
- Experience collaborating with Architecture, Engineering, Security, and Operations teams
- Understanding of Enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Knowledge of Authentication, Authorization, and Identity Lifecycle Management
- Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture, API Security, and Cloud-Native Security
- Awareness of DevSecOps, SSDLC, Observability, and Production Readiness practices
- Strong documentation, reporting, and knowledge-sharing capabilities
