Product Owner - Online Banking - Security Solutions - Banking
Excellent opportunity opens for an experienced Product Owner to join a major UK Bank for the delivery of new online banking and security solutions. You will own the development and delivery of the digital product roadmap, working closely with key stakeholders across the business. This opportunity offers the chance to develop work on the efficacy of new digital products from design through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a digital product roadmap for online banking and security solutions, ensuring alignment to the wider Digital Meeting Places product vision and establish an associated backlog, taking accountability for successful delivery against this with a clear user-focused, service design approach.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders from across the business including Financial Product, Technology, Group, Branches, and the control functions to understand business needs and priorities, supporting effective inclusion in your product roadmap.
- Oversee a pro-active, customer-focused, multi-disciplinary team, working with skilled specialists across insights, UX design, technology delivery, Group, security and architecture, in order to develop highly effective digital products through a process of research, ideation and design.
- Define and measure the success criteria for your digital product(s), creating a clear set of business outcomes that support the Bank’s wider strategic objectives.
- Establish clear feedback loops to understand the impact of your product and feed changes and improvements into your backlog, continually reviewing, refining and prioritising the backlog to create optimal value in line with the overarching product roadmap vision and business outcomes.
- Be responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of digital products to end users, including appropriate training, communications and literature to facilitate adoption.

Experience:
- Customer-centric with a strong focus on end user experience and outcomes.
- A strong working knowledge of the Financial Services industry and PSD2 regulations.
- Experience of a digital product delivery environment with exposure to, or knowledge of, agile development and change methodologies.
- Highly positive and collaborative team player, who actively engages stakeholders, supports team members, and shares knowledge with others.
- A strong understanding of what good looks like for online banking journeys and customer authentication solutions.
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to confidently represent the Digital Product area and gain buy-in to the strategy and roadmap with a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously, often with competing priorities.
- Strong awareness of the digital banking ecosystem, keeping abreast of market trends and competitor propositions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
