Product Owner/Project Manager - OMS & Retail Commerce Transformation - London
Location: London (Hybrid)
Rate: Up to £600 - £700 (Inside IR35)
Hybrid: 1 – 2 days
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner/Project Manager with deep expertise in Order Management Systems (OMS) and retail commerce platforms to join a major retail transformation programme. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of order management, fulfilment and sourcing capabilities within a modern MACH-based commerce ecosystem, working alongside senior business stakeholders, architects, engineers and delivery teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own and drive the product roadmap for Order Management capabilities.
- Translate business requirements into product solutions and delivery plans.
- Lead discovery workshops, requirements gathering and backlog refinement.
- Define and prioritise epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, scope, priorities and change requests.
- Drive alignment across Customer, Commerce, Inventory, OMS, Fulfilment and Payments domains.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, Sprint Planning and Release Management.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture and QA teams throughout delivery.
- Lead and mentor a small Product team (2-3 team members).

Essential Experience
- 8+ years' Product Management / Product Owner experience within Retail, eCommerce or Order Management platforms.
- Deep knowledge of:
- Order Management Systems (OMS)
- Order Orchestration
- Order Lifecycle Management
- Post-Purchase Customer Journeys
- Experience managing backlogs for:
- Order Management
- Order Sourcing
- Inventory
- Fulfilment capabilities
- Strong understanding of fulfilment models including:
- Click & Collect
- Home Delivery
- Marketplace Fulfilment
- Drop Ship Vendor (DSV)
- Experience defining:
- Sourcing strategies
- Inventory allocation rules
- Fulfilment optimisation across DCs, Stores, Suppliers and Marketplaces
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven Agile delivery experience including PI Planning and Release Management.
- Experience working within highly integrated commerce ecosystems.
