Role Summary
We are now looking for a Product Owner to join our London office on a contract basis for approximately seven months, covering a period of parental leave. We are looking for a start in November 2026 to allow for a handover.
You will take on the day-to-day product management of our Offshore stream, a set of products used by our offshore broking teams and, in a number of cases, by their clients directly.
Our purpose is to drive digital excellence across the business. That starts with the tools our brokers use every day, and extends outwards to the clients they work with, where better technology strengthens the relationship and moves us forward together. You will be working closely with our offshore brokers, and with the owners, charterers, and operators they deal with, making sure what we build genuinely helps them do business.
This is a hands-on role covering both product management and business analysis. Alongside owning the product relationships and the delivery roadmap, you will be shaping requirements, writing stories, and running refinement with the engineering team. As a cover position, the emphasis is on continuity: keeping delivery moving, holding the stakeholder relationships, and handing the stream back in good order.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

What you’ll be doing
Product and delivery
- Own the day-to-day product management of the Offshore product set, working closely with key stakeholders across the Offshore divisions and with the engineering team to determine and maintain the delivery roadmap.
- Gather and shape requirements for larger pieces of work with stakeholders, managing them through all stages of refinement so there is no delay to the development team in receiving sufficient clarity to deliver.
- Produce the artefacts needed to support delivery, including user stories, acceptance criteria, change requests, and mock-ups of screen designs.
- Contribute to quarterly prioritisation discussions with key stakeholders, and carry out focused investigations into approach where a decision is needed within the period.
- Continuously monitor and manage the products, tracking and reviewing metrics to ensure delivery is being met.
- Competently handle multiple products and features at any point in time, managing and prioritising your own workload and providing regular status updates.
Stakeholders and users
- Act as the main point of contact for offshore brokers and their clients globally, handling ad hoc queries, relationship management, and feature requests.
- Scope and cost ad hoc requests from external clients, for example, additional functionality on one of our client-facing platforms, and see them through to delivery.
- Provide hands-on support to brokers and their counterparties, including joining calls with owners and charterers to take them through the platform and resolve issues.
- Support adoption of the offshore products across the broking community, building broker confidence in the tools and understanding how they fit into working practices.
Data and integration
- Work with Clarksons Research (CRSL) and our data team on the data that feeds the offshore products, including vessel data and identification.
- Become the subject matter expert within the product domain and act when required.
Support and enablement
- Plan and participate in system testing activity and user training where required.
- Provide guidance for the completion of support documentation, including user help documentation, guides and manuals, and updates to the internal applications.
