Product Owner

Location: Birmingham or Leeds | Working Pattern: Hybrid Working | Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Product Owner to join a growing legal technology function within a leading international professional services environment. This role offers the chance to take ownership of a portfolio of technology solutions, driving adoption, user engagement and continuous improvement across the business.

Working at the intersection of product, technology and business operations, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders, technology teams and end users to ensure solutions deliver measurable value, enhance user experience and support organisational objectives.

This organisation is investing heavily in technology and innovation, creating an environment where Product Owners can influence strategy, shape product direction and contribute to meaningful business change on a global scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own and contribute to product roadmaps, prioritising enhancements based on business objectives, user feedback and strategic priorities
  • Drive awareness, adoption and effective use of legal technology solutions across the organisation
  • Gather and translate business requirements into clear product priorities and technology solutions
  • Collaborate with technology teams, suppliers and third party vendors on implementations, upgrades, integrations and enhancements
  • Monitor product usage, performance and adoption metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Support technology rollouts through stakeholder engagement, communications and training initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across legal, business services and technology teams
  • Act as an escalation point for complex product issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication

Requirements

  • Experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, Legal Technology or a similar technology focused role
  • Experience managing technology products through implementation, optimisation and ongoing development
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence senior audiences
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technology solutions
  • Experience supporting technology adoption, change management and user engagement initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a data driven approach to decision making
  • Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and technology change frameworks

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within professional services, legal services or another regulated environment
  • HighQ and/or Contract Express knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge of document automation, client portals, matter management, workflow platforms or collaboration technologies
  • Experience managing relationships with third-party technology suppliers and vendors
  • Interest in emerging technologies and digital transformation initiatives

Location: Birmingham or Leeds

Working Pattern: Hybrid

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 + Benefits
