Purpose

The Product Owner (Supply Chain & Logistics) is a key member of the Service Platforms Team at Post Office Ltd (POL), responsible for owning, developing and continuously improving the Supply Chain & Logistics product portfolio. The role is accountable for ensuring that product investments deliver measurable value to the business while supporting POL's operational and strategic objectives for 2026 and beyond.

The Product Owner will lead day-to-day product management activities across the Supply Chain & Logistics domain, including defining and maintaining the product vision, roadmap and prioritised backlog. Working closely with business stakeholders, operational teams, technology partners and software delivery squads, the role will translate business requirements into clearly defined epics, features and user stories, supported by robust acceptance criteria, success measures and business outcomes.

Through active ownership of Agile product management practices and ceremonies, the Product Owner will provide clear direction to delivery teams, remove ambiguity, manage dependencies and ensure the successful delivery and adoption of new functionality.

Acting as the primary link between Supply Chain & Logistics stakeholders and technology delivery teams, the Product Owner will build strong relationships across the organisation, ensuring requirements are understood, priorities are aligned and risks, issues and opportunities are identified and managed proactively. The role will work closely with the Head of Service Platforms and wider transformation teams to support the successful delivery of strategic change initiatives.

The Product Owner will define and manage the Supply Chain & Logistics roadmap for 2026-27 and beyond, ensuring that the product portfolio evolves to meet changing business needs while delivering an improved experience for customers, operational users and delivery partners. As a member of the wider Product Management community, the role will champion product best practices, foster a culture of continuous improvement and contribute to the ongoing maturity of product delivery across Post Office.

Throughout all activities, the Product Owner will consistently demonstrate Post Office values and behaviours, maintaining a customer-first mindset and a strong focus on delivering sustainable business outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
