Product Owner, Warehouse and Logistics IT

Location: London, UK - Hybrid

Duration: 12+ Months Inside IR35 Contract

The Role

We are seeking a Product Owner to join our Warehouse and Logistics IT division. The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader with deep functional knowledge of the global logistics landscape. This role is responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of our core IT products, including our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS) solutions. The Product Owner will act as a key resource for the business, translating complex operational needs into clear product requirements and solutions that drive efficiency and enhance customer experience. This position requires in-depth knowledge of our business domain and the ability to work independently to solve complex problems and guide less experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with business goals and user needs. Develop and maintain the product roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Requirements Management: Own the product backlog, writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure development teams have a clear understanding of business needs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with business leaders, end users, and cross-functional teams (development, QA, UX/UI, etc.) to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the development lifecycle.
  • System Expertise: Apply deep functional knowledge of global 3PL and Contract Logistics operations to inform product decisions and design solutions.
  • Customer-Centric Solutions: Drive the development of customer-facing products, including Customer E2E visibility powered by IoT data and interactive dashboards, and Customer Portals to enhance transparency and service.
  • Integration Leadership: Oversee the strategy and implementation of key integrations, including EDI and API connections, to enable seamless data exchange with customers and partners.
  • Specialized Systems: Manage and define requirements for specialized systems, including shipment management (e.g., FSMS, ConnectShip, ProShip) and the generation of accurate labels and shipping documentation/reports.
  • Performance Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report on product performance data to support strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
