About the Role
Are you a proactive, delivery-focused Product Owner with a passion for high-performing e-commerce platforms? At VictorianPlumbing.co.uk, we’re constantly pushing the boundaries of online retail. We are looking for a Product Owner – Web Platform & Apps to drive the continuous improvement and delivery of digital experiences across our core brands, including Victorian Plumbing and MFI.
Working across our web and native mobile app platforms, you will be the crucial bridge between business ambition and technical execution. You’ll translate commercial goals into prioritised backlogs, refined user stories, and high impact releases that delight millions of customers and drive conversion.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver End-to-End Features: Own digital sales channel initiatives from early discovery and backlog grooming through to testing, UAT, release, and post-launch optimisation.
- Bridge Business & Tech: Translate validated commercial and UX requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear developer tasks.
- Roadmap & Backlog Management: Prioritise features and balance business value, technical complexity, and cross-team dependencies into a clear delivery roadmap.
- Collaborate & Unblock: Work daily alongside developers, QA engineers, UX designers, and analytics teams to clarify goals, overcome blockers, and maintain momentum.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Communicate progress, timelines, risks, and release schedules clearly to senior leadership and commercial teams.
- Data-Driven Optimisation: Partner with analytics to set clear KPI benchmarks, define success metrics for every launch, and evaluate post-release performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
