About AXA

AXA is a global leader in insurance and financial services, dedicated to helping customers protect what matters most to them. As the sixth-largest insurance company in the world, we provide a wide range of services, including health, car, home, and business insurance. We support millions of customers worldwide, helping them navigate life's uncertainties with confidence.

AXA UK Support Functions look after our three customer-facing business units, providing the infrastructure and expertise to make sure we can be there for our customers.

Job Overview

AXA is embarking on an exciting partnership journey and we’re looking for three dedicated Product Owners to lead key areas of this initiative and join us on a 9 month secondment.

  • The Claims Product Owner will focus on delivering seamless claims solutions across car and home insurance, working closely with Claims squads to optimise processes, enhance customer experience and drive business and claims readiness activities.
  • The Data and Pricing Product Owner will oversee delivery of data and MI requirements and the E2E flow of customer data through to pricing, translating complex requirements into clear product roadmaps that support strategic business decisions.
  • The Customer Support Product Owner will shape the future of our customer service models, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and customer-focused across various channels.

As the Product Owner, you’ll work collaboratively across teams to develop and execute strategic roadmaps, manage dependencies and deliver impactful solutions. While the individual role responsibilities differ, they aim to improve AXA’s offerings through effective product management, stakeholder engagement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap that aligns with business objectives, stakeholder needs and partnership goals across claims, data & pricing and customer support functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional squads and external partners to deliver end-to-end solutions, ensuring seamless integration and timely delivery of initiatives.
  • Act as the primary interface between stakeholders and delivery teams, translating complex requirements into clear plans and managing dependencies effectively.
  • Lead operational readiness activities, including process design, change management, stakeholder engagement and training, to ensure successful implementation and adoption of products.
  • Monitor product and process performance, collecting feedback and data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimise customer and partner experiences.
  • Manage product backlogs, priorities and risks, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and effective resource allocation across multiple initiatives.
  • Support cultural and operational change by promoting Agile principles, fostering collaboration and championing innovative approaches to product development.
  • Maintain a holistic view of the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept through to ongoing enhancements, ensuring products remain fit for purpose and deliver maximum value.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
