🛠️ We’re Hiring: Product Owner
📍 Remote (United Kingdom)
🕒 Full-Time
💼 Level: Mid-Level / Senior
We’re looking for a strategic, customer-focused, and highly organised Product Owner to define product priorities, manage the product backlog, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver valuable products and features. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding customer needs, translating business objectives into product requirements, and working closely with Engineering, Design, and business stakeholders in a collaborative, remote-first environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities align with business and customer objectives
- Define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and expected outcomes
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand customer needs, business requirements, and market opportunities
- Develop and communicate product priorities and roadmaps
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, and Customer Success teams
- Prioritise features and initiatives based on customer value, business impact, technical considerations, and resources
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
- Provide clear direction to development teams throughout the product delivery lifecycle
- Work with stakeholders to define and measure product success metrics and KPIs
- Gather and analyse customer feedback, product data, and market insights
- Identify opportunities to improve existing products and introduce new features
- Support user acceptance testing and ensure delivered solutions meet agreed requirements
- Communicate product decisions, progress, priorities, and trade-offs to stakeholders
- Manage dependencies, risks, and competing priorities across product initiatives
- Continuously evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure product development remains aligned with the overall business strategy

✅ Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, or a related role
- Proven experience managing product backlogs and prioritising features
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience writing clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong understanding of customer-focused product development
- Ability to balance customer needs, business objectives, technical constraints, and delivery timelines
- Experience working closely with Engineering and Design teams
- Familiarity with product management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Productboard, Aha!, or similar platforms
- Understanding of product analytics and KPIs is a plus
- Experience working with digital, SaaS, technology, or software products is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Based in the United Kingdom with the legal right to work in the UK
