About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Commercial Team as a Product Partner Executive, playing a key role in shaping and delivering the strategy, growth and commercial performance of Travel Counsellors’ key product portfolios.

They will support the development and delivery of product and portfolio strategies across key product areas, developing and delivering the strategy using customer, market, competitor and trading insight to identify growth opportunities, shape the proposition and establish clear commercial priorities.

They will manage key supplier account contracts, building strategic relationships and taking responsibility for commercial performance, contracting and negotiations.

Working collaboratively and cross-functionally with the commercial and product teams, they will combine product, customer and trading insight to identify opportunities to grow sales through the Travel Counsellors proposition. They will help shape and develop commercially compelling product opportunities that meet customer and Travel Counsellor needs, driving growth in TTV, margin and partnership value.

The role offers a development pathway towards Product Manager as experience and capability grow.

Principal Accountabilities

Product Strategy, Performance & Growth

  • Own the strategy and commercial development of key and emerging products, establishing clear priorities, objectives and growth plans
  • Manage an agreed portfolio of partners and maintain strong, productive commercial relationships.
  • Drive an increase in TTV, margin, sales and adoption performance.
  • Use customer, Travel Counsellor, competitor and market insight to identify trends, opportunities and barriers to growth.
  • Identify and close product and supply gaps.
  • Improve product awareness, engagement, confidence and conversion.
  • Support initiatives focused on retention, rebooking and customer value.

Commercial Management, Contracting & Partnerships

  • Negotiate and manage commercial contracts and agreements including rates, commission and override opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strategic account plans across the portfolio
  • Monitor supplier performance, commercial income and margin considerations to support decision making.
  • Support the delivery of partnership, event and conference income targets.
  • Identify opportunities to increase the wider value of supplier relationships through marketing, partnership and event activity.

Trading, Insight & Technology

  • Prepare weekly trading information, reports, agendas and action summaries for relevant stakeholders.
  • Use data and AI tools to support clear commercial recommendations.

Product Engagement & Sales Enablement

  • Work with Marketing, Sales, Training and supplier partners to support campaigns, communications, training, incentives and product experiences.
  • Support Travel Counsellor knowledge and confidence across priority product areas.
  • Ensure relevant product information and commercial insight is available to support sales activity.

Required Experience

  • Commercial awareness and an interest in travel products and supplier partnerships.
  • Analytical and numerically confident, with the ability to interpret data and identify key messages.
  • Strong communication, organisation and relationship-management skills.
  • Comfortable working with multiple priorities and meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively across different teams.
  • Interested in using data, technology and AI to improve efficiency and insight.
  • Flexible to travel for supplier meetings, events, conferences and training where required
