Professional Services Consultancy | 6-Month Contract | £650 per day | Predominantly Remote

A leading professional services organisation is seeking an experienced Product Portfolio Lead to take ownership of a critical Network Services portfolio within a large-scale cloud and infrastructure transformation programme.

This is a highly visible role where you will combine product leadership, delivery management, operational readiness, and technical stakeholder engagement to ensure the successful evolution of enterprise network services.

The environment is cloud-native, service-oriented, and supports the delivery of mission-critical digital services at scale.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, delivery, and operational maturity of a Network Product Portfolio.

You will work closely with engineering, architecture, operations, and business stakeholders, taking products from concept through delivery and into stable operational support.

The successful candidate will be comfortable operating at both strategic and detailed levels, ensuring product decisions translate into successful production outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the Network Product Portfolio roadmap
  • Drive delivery planning, release management, and operational readiness activities
  • Track dependencies, risks, blockers, and critical decision points
  • Define and manage product specifications, service requirements, and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure services are fully prepared for production deployment and Day-2 support
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on stability, automation, and operational excellence
  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to improve service reliability and performance
  • Align product priorities with business objectives, technical strategy, and operational capacity
  • Manage stakeholder expectations across technology, delivery, architecture, and leadership functions
  • Establish clear reporting around portfolio progress, operational KPIs, risks, and delivery outcomes
  • Drive lifecycle management activities across existing and future network services

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
