At Kingfisher, Product is central to how we transform customer experiences, scale technology capability, and deliver meaningful change across our international banners. We are looking for a Product Chapter Lead to shape and evolve Product Management and Product Operations capability across the organisation.

This is a highly visible leadership role, suited to an experienced product leader who is passionate about developing people, driving standards, and building a world-class product culture within a complex enterprise environment.

As Product Chapter Lead, you will lead the Product Chapter, setting the strategic direction, annual objectives, and capability plan for the function. Working closely with the Chief Product Officer and senior technology leadership, you will help define the future of Product Management at Kingfisher while supporting and developing Product Chapter members across the business.

You will act as a coach, mentor, and strategic leader ensuring product standards, tooling, ways of working, and career pathways continue to evolve in line with modern product practices and the wider Kingfisher technology strategy.

What's the job?

  • Lead the Product Chapter strategy, objectives, and annual roadmap
  • Drive standards and best practices across Product Management and Product Operations
  • Own and evolve the Product Career Framework across Kingfisher
  • Partner with the ProdSquad, Product Chapter, Banner Technology Directors, and wider business stakeholders to define product roles, skills, and career pathways
  • Improve how product is delivered across all product domains and sub-domains
  • Identify capability gaps and implement plans through upskilling, reskilling, hiring, and development initiatives
  • Act as a coach and advisor to Product Chapter members, supporting growth and capability development
  • Drive continuous improvement in tooling, frameworks, and product delivery methods
  • Collaborate with cross-functional chapters and leadership teams to improve alignment and delivery effectiveness
  • Support resource planning and prioritisation discussions across Group and third-party teams
  • Manage Chapter-related budgets, including training, development, and community initiatives
  • Build strong engagement and communication across banner and group technology teams

What you'll bring

  • Experienced product leader with strong Product Management and/or Product Operations expertise
  • Passion for advancing product capability, standards, and ways of working
  • Strong experience influencing senior stakeholders within complex enterprise environments
  • Proven ability to define strategic vision, gain organisational alignment, and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing product professionals
  • Strong understanding of modern product delivery methodologies and organisational design
  • Ability to bring external product thinking and best practice into a large-scale business environment
  • Collaborative leadership style with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
