Product & Quality Specialist Apprentice
This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Product Specialist, passionate about fashion / textiles / garment construction. You'll gain exposure to product development, quality assurance, compliance, technical documentation and supplier engagement; building the technical expertise for a successful career in product technology.
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
The Product & Quality Specialist Apprentice will support Product Specialists and Buying teams in the development, evaluation and approval of fashion and textile products. Working across multiple product categories, you'll:
- Contribute to activities throughout the product lifecycle, gaining practical experience in product development, quality assurance, testing, compliance and supplier collaboration.
- Assist with product reviews, maintaining technical documentation, supporting critical path activities, coordinating samples and learning how products are assessed against quality, fit, performance and safety requirements.
- Take ownership of individual tasks and projects while being supported by experienced colleagues and apprenticeship learning providers.

Alongside practical experience, the apprentice will work towards achieving the Level 4 Fashion & Textiles Product Technologist qualification, developing specialist technical knowledge and industry-recognised skills.
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
Alongside practical experience, the apprentice will work towards achieving the Level 4 Fashion & Textiles Product Technologist qualification, developing specialist technical knowledge and industry-recognised skills. You will regularly attend college with the Fashion Retail Academy.
