About the Role

We are hiring a sharp, research-driven Product R&D / Formulation Expert to innovate new products and improve existing ones for our client's DTC skincare and cosmetics brands. You'll be the engine behind what goes into products, researching ingredients, identifying what's working in the market, and coordinating with suppliers to bring stronger, better formulations to life.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct deep market and ingredient research across Amazon, Instagram, beauty communities, and viral/organic products to identify what's working and why.
  • Determine which ingredients drive real results, and decide what to add, strengthen, reduce, or remove.
  • Reformulate and iteratively improve existing products, and innovate entirely new ones.
  • Coordinate directly with suppliers (including in China) via group chats to adjust formulations, add new ingredients, and drive execution, with strong, consistent follow-up.
  • Build a systemized, structured approach to ingredient research and formulation decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
