Reception Warehouse Process Controller (Quality Inspection & Product Care)

Shift Pattern

  • Week 1: Sunday – Wednesday from 18:00 to 06:00
  • Week 2: Sunday – Tuesday from 18:00 to 06:00

About the Role

Located within the receiving warehouse, this position ensures product care and quality control across incoming and handled stock. You will:

  • Represent operational processes and product integrity, maintaining accuracy in inspection workflows.
  • Balance detailed quality checks with warehouse operational efficiency across a busy production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance & Stock Management

    • Conduct thorough quality checks on stock to verify fitness for purpose and accurate recording.
    • Report errors or discrepancies in product condition/labelling to relevant teams where needed.
    • Handle scrap/rejects to prioritise fraud/damage recovery efforts where possible.
  • Operational Product Care

    • Inspect and repack defective, damaged, or used products strictly, adhering to accuracy standards.
    • Flag suspected fraudulent items for system logging and escalation to the fraud investigation team.

  • Problem Resolution

    • Communicate poor product care cases (e.g., packaging damages or unresolved issues) to on-site management for resolution.

    • Maintain accurate daily documentation, records, and filing.

Requirements

Proficient Technical Skills & Preferences:

  • Proficient use of Google Suite platforms.
  • Adaptability to rotating shifts and willingness to support overtime as necessary.
  • Reliable punctuality and objective approach to operational challenges.
