Abbott's Diabetes Care business designs, develops and manufactures leading-edge glucose monitoring systems and test strips for use in both home and hospital settings. Our product portfolio includes FreeStyle Libre, a system that is revolutionising how people with diabetes around the world monitor their glucose levels. Our Complaint Investigation teams play a critical role in supporting this mission, ensuring product feedback and customer complaints are investigated thoroughly, compliantly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer experience. The team provides valuable insights that help drive product improvements, support regulatory compliance, and ensure we continue to meet the needs of millions of customers worldwide.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Shift Manager to join our Complaint Investigation Team based in Witney, Oxfordshire.
This role follows a 4 on, 4 off rotation, working 10:00am to 10:00pm, and forms part of the leadership structure supporting our 24/7 Complaint Investigation operation.

- Lead, coach and develop Team Leads, creating a high-performing, accountable and engaged team culture.
- Oversee shift operations, ensuring delivery against quality, compliance, productivity and business targets.
- Provide leadership and act as the main escalation point for complex operational, technical and people issues.
- Use performance data to drive continuous improvement and improve efficiency.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure regulatory, quality and audit requirements are met.
What will you bring?
- Proven leadership experience with a passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.
- Experience working within a regulated environment such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, food manufacturing, automotive, or a similar industry.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience using performance metrics and data to drive operational improvements and informed decision making.
- Knowledge of quality systems, compliance requirements and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
