About Top Fenders
Top Fenders Ltd is a specialist supplier of marine equipment, providing high-quality fenders, hoses, and ancillary products to customers across the maritime, offshore, energy, port, and defence sectors.
As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a Product Sales Manager to drive sales growth across our product portfolio, develop new customer relationships, and expand our presence in both existing and emerging markets.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded individual with strong relationship-building skills and experience within maritime, offshore, defence, engineering, or industrial sectors.
The Role
The Product Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing business opportunities for Top Fenders' range of products and services.
The role will focus on building relationships with a broad range of customers, including:
- Port operators
- Terminal operators
- Shipping companies
- Offshore operators
- Vessel owners and managers
- EPC contractors
- Government organisations
- Defence and naval customers
- Marine service providers
The successful candidate will develop sales opportunities, manage key accounts, and help position Top Fenders as a preferred supplier within the marine industry.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue across the product portfolio
- Promote and sell:
- Marine fenders
- Floating and submarine hoses
- STS transfer equipment
- Mooring and berthing equipment
- Ancillary marine products
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across marine, offshore, port, energy, and defence sectors
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and site visits
- Represent Top Fenders at industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events

Account Management
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers
- Identify opportunities for repeat business and cross-selling
- Maintain regular contact with key accounts and decision-makers
- Ensure excellent customer service throughout the sales process
Commercial Activities
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions
- Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions
- Work closely with technical teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reporting
Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry developments and competitor activity
- Identify new markets and product opportunities
- Provide market feedback to management to support strategic growth initiatives
Essential Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Experience building and managing customer relationships
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel as required
Desirable
- Experience within maritime, offshore, ports, defence, engineering, industrial equipment, or energy sectors
- Existing industry network within the marine sector
- Experience responding to tenders and preparing commercial proposals
- Military service or defence-sector experience
- Technical understanding of marine equipment and vessel operations

Preferred Background: Experience in marine, offshore, port, engineering, industrial equipment, defence, or government-related sales. Former military personnel with strong commercial skills and industry networks are encouraged to apply.
