Product & Sales Operations Administrator
We have an exciting 12-month fixed term contract opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join our Commercial team as a Product & Sales Operations Administrator. A proven track record operating in a customer service environment as well as experience of operating within a financial services and products environment is desirable for this role.
As a key member of the team, you will support the Head of Product & Sales Operations in the implementation of the Society’s product launches, withdrawals and amendments. Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, the Risk Management Framework and internal policies and procedures.
Salary: £24,479 per annum
Location: Head office based in Tipton. The Society is able to offer hybrid working, following successful completion of an initial probationary period, you would be able to work 2 to 3 days at home each week.
Hours: 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5 pm
In this role you will:
- Product changes including preparation and reprinting of literature.
- Ensuring the Society’s website, app, and MAST are kept up to date with product information.
- Providing sourcing companies with timely updates to changes of the Society’s products.
- Preparation for meetings, including preparing and issuing minutes or reports.
- General administrative duties, including answering the telephone, photocopying, scanning and printing.
- Ad-hoc projects and tasks as required by the Head of Product & Sales Operations, or any member of the Executive team.
- Creation and sending of monthly regulatory mailings.
- Ensure products are displayed accurately across sourcing platforms.
- Complete product research to remain competitive and support new entries to market.
- To assist in the development of products.
- To efficiently complete product set up processes.
- To oversee the Society’s online presence.

To be successful you will have:
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent administrative skills, and PC skills, covering Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Ability to follow and work to procedures and instructions to produce accurate and thorough work.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the team effort and objectives.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and to embrace the Society’s GREAT values.
- Excellent time keeping and attendance.
- Organisation, workload management and prioritisation skills.
- Experience of working within a Products role is desirable.
- Experience of working in the Financial Services market is desirable.
- Experience of savings and mortgage products is desirable.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A minimum of 5 GCSE grades 9 to 4 / A* to C (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
- 2 A Levels at grades A to C (or equivalent).
- Experience of working in a busy environment.
