The Role:
We're looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Product Specialist to join our Technical Department. Reporting to the Technical Director, you will provide expert technical support and guidance on ARC products throughout the process, from early design and specification stages through to installation, handover, and beyond.

You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them select the right solutions while ensuring compliance with building regulations and the Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI). You'll also support product testing and certification programmes, develop training materials, and act as a Subject Matter Expert across the business.
In this role, you will:
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers on ARC products throughout the product lifecycle.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project details to recommend suitable product solutions.
- Ensure all advice aligns with current building regulations and CCPI requirements.
- Manage and document customer enquiries through the CRM system.
- Identify opportunities for new products and product improvements based on customer feedback.
- Assist with product testing, certification activities, and technical documentation management.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert on internal projects and support cross-functional teams with technical product knowledge.
- Create and deliver engaging training programmes for colleagues, customers, and industry partners.

- Passionate about construction products and technical problem-solving.
- Experienced in a customer-facing role within construction, building materials, or a related industry.
- Comfortable interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled at building strong customer relationships and influencing stakeholders.
- Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Driven by continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and CRM systems.
Qualifications:
- Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in construction, sales, or a related field, IFE Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection. If you do not already hold this qualification, we will support you in achieving it, so you must be willing to work towards obtaining it.
- Coaching, mentoring, or training qualifications are advantageous.
- A-Levels (or equivalent) in a technical subject.
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
