Product Evangelist – SaaS
Manchester | Hybrid – 2 days per week £40,000 – £45,000
Are you the person who can understand something complicated – and then make it sound simple? We're recruiting for a newly created Product Evangelist role with a growing B2B SaaS business in Manchester.
The company is developing its platform quickly, introducing new functionality, automation and AI capabilities. They now want someone who can sit at the heart of the Product team and make sure customers, Sales and Customer Success understand what's being built, why it's being built and the value it delivers.
This is an unusual role.
It's part Product, part communication, part customer education and part internal enablement. And we're much more interested in how you think and communicate than your current job title.
What will you do?
You'll become one of the people who knows the product inside out. Working directly with Product and Engineering, you'll understand new features and developments before translating them into clear, engaging stories for different audiences.

You'll:
- Turn complex product functionality into clear customer benefits and use cases
- Help Sales and Customer Success confidently explain new products and features
- Run product workshops, demonstrations and education sessions
- Explain new releases – what has changed, why it matters and how customers can benefit
- Develop customer stories and case studies that Marketing can take to market
- Help shape product messaging, release communications and supporting content
- Work with customers to understand how they're using the platform
- Feed customer insight back into the Product team
- Keep learning about the market, customers and emerging technology, including AI
- Become a trusted internal source of product knowledge
Who are we looking for?
We're deliberately keeping this broad. You might currently work in Product, Product Marketing, Solutions Consulting, Customer Enablement, Customer Success, Training or another customer-facing SaaS position. Alternatively, you could come from a Risk, Compliance or GRC background and be looking for an opportunity to move closer to technology and Product.

You don't need to have been a Product Evangelist before.
What matters is that you can demonstrate that you:
- Learn complex products, systems or subjects quickly
- Can make complicated ideas simple without losing what matters
- Are an excellent written and verbal communicator
- Enjoy presenting, facilitating and working with people
- Can adapt your communication to different audiences
- Are naturally curious and want to understand why, not just what
- Are comfortable working closely with technical and non-technical teams
- Have the maturity to take ownership while still wanting to learn and develop
- Enjoy working collaboratively rather than operating in a silo
Experience within B2B SaaS would be highly advantageous. Knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) would also be valuable, but it isn't essential. If you can demonstrate that you've successfully learned a complex product or specialist industry before, we'd still like to hear from you.
