Position Overview
Forming an integral part of a Customer Interaction Team you will be speaking to end users to facilitate conversions to ConvaTec Products and Solutions. An excellent communicator with a can-do attitude working to enhance ConvaTec’s reputation and market share by providing ethical solutions to Customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- To achieve agreed KPI targets
- Develop new sales opportunities using outbound calls & Emails
- Is a team player who understands the teams needs and shares ideas/suggestions and collaborates with other team members and wider business units sharing best practices.
- Makes follow-up calls to end users regarding products and services and using solution-based selling skills, facilitate conversions to ConvaTec products/services
- To keep updated with all new products and services available to our customers
- Communicates effectively – both verbally and in writing with end users of our products, healthcare professionals and internal customers
- Has a good understanding of all stoma types and can suggest appropriate products for each condition
- Drives performance through self-motivation and thrives under pressure. Prioritises workload to ensure that the service offered meets the expectation of the customer and business.
- Demonstrates proficiency in the use of databases and focuses on gathering essential information as quickly as possible bearing in mind the needs of our customers.
- Displays sensitivity to the customer’s needs including the need for confidentiality and discretion in written and spoken communication
- Follows and understands the need for established procedures within the department but also questions, and continuously looks for ways they can be improved
- Uses open questions and good questioning technique to identify an opportunity to switch a competitor user onto a ConvaTec & Servicing Solution
- Develops relationships with customers through empathy and diplomacy

Skills & Experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders
- Problem solver
- High level of organisational skills and an ability to prioritise workload
- Commercial acumen
- High level of organisation skills
- Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and face to face with a wide customer group ranging from end user to healthcare professional.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
- Able to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrates good listening skills
- Strong Keyboard skills, including advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and report writing
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Proven track record of working towards KPI’s and targets
- Be able to deal effectively and professionally with all Customer Complaints
- Able to translate complex technical regulatory issues into plain language to nontechnical audiences
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

Qualifications/Education
- GCSEs
- Proven track record in Sales Role
- Experience of recognising Sales opportunities
Working Conditions
Hybrid working 3 days per week in the office
