Job Overview

Paul Rigby Volvo Stafford is looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and proactive Product Specialist to join our growing team. This is a varied and hands-on role that plays a vital part in maintaining the high standards expected from the Volvo brand while ensuring our vehicle displays and online presence are presented to the highest possible standard.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, presentation, and marketing of both new and used vehicles. They will work closely with the sales, service, and valeting teams to ensure vehicles are prepared and displayed in line with Volvo's premium standards.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Management & Preparation

  • Check in all new and used vehicles upon arrival from delivery drivers.
  • Vehicle inspections and transport damage claims
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and accurately report any damage, missing items, or preparation requirements.
  • Ensure all vehicles are prepared to Volvo standards prior to display or customer handover.
  • Liaise with the workshop, valeting team, and external suppliers to monitor and chase any outstanding preparation work.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle status and preparation progress.

Used Vehicle Display

  • Ensure all vehicles on display are presented to the highest standard at all times.
  • Maintain the used car display area, ensuring vehicles are correctly positioned and clean.
  • Check that all point-of-sale materials are present, accurate, and professionally displayed.
  • Ensure vehicle pricing is correct and updated across all display stock.

Vehicle Marketing

  • Photograph used and trade vehicles to a high standard.
  • Create engaging vehicle advertisements for online platforms, including Auto Trader and dealership websites.
  • Ensure vehicle descriptions are accurate, informative, and compliant with company standards.
  • Upload and maintain vehicle listings promptly to maximise sales opportunities.

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Create engaging social media content showcasing vehicles, dealership activity, promotions, and customer experiences.
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos for use across social media channels.
  • Assist in developing innovative content ideas to increase customer engagement and brand awareness.
  • Ensure all content reflects Volvo's premium image and dealership standards.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Confidence using social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Good photography and content creation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
  • A proactive approach and a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
  • Previous motor trade experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence required.
