About the Company
As the Product Specialist, you will be the face of the Company in your territory, bringing products to life through demonstrations, technical expertise and exceptional customer engagement.
About the Role
Working closely with the dealer network, key end users and internal sales team, you will help drive demand for the Group product ranges by showcasing the value of the equipment, building lasting relationships and identifying new commercial opportunities. This is a varied, customer-facing role that combines product demonstrations, technical support, dealer development and business growth. It is ideally suited to someone who enjoys being on the road, thrives in front of customers and takes pride in delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver professional product demonstrations across the Premium product ranges
- Build strong relationships with dealers, professional turf care professionals within - Football, Cricket, Golf, Tennis, Bowls clubs etc
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective customer accounts
- Support dealers with customer visits, product launches, open days and promotional events
- Deliver product training to dealers and customers, ensuring confidence in both product capability and application
- Act as the technical product expert within the sales team, providing guidance and advice to customers and colleagues
- Work collaboratively with Key Account Managers to generate and convert sales opportunities
- Gather market intelligence, competitor information and customer feedback to support future product development and commercial strategy
- Maintain accurate customer records, opportunities and activity within Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
- Represent the Group professionally at exhibitions, trade events and industry functions
- Work closely with the After Sales, Marketing and Engineering teams to ensure customers receive a seamless experience throughout their journey

Qualifications
- Experience in a customer-facing sales, technical or demonstration role
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to confidently demonstrate technical products to a wide range of audiences
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- Self-motivated with excellent planning and organisational ability
- Comfortable working independently whilst remaining a collaborative team player
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel regularly, including occasional overnight stays

Required Skills
- Experience within professional turf, ground care, agricultural, horticultural or related machinery sectors
- Understanding of dealer networks and indirect sales channels
- Experience using CRM systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Knowledge of sports turf maintenance and machinery applications

Pay range and compensation package
£55-65k + Neg Basic Plus Bonuses + Car
