About the Role
I'm excited to partner with a fast-growing and extremely well-backed FinTech start-up based in London looking to hire a Senior Product Specialist as they continue to scale and grow the Product team under the newly appointed Head of Product.
This is an opportunity for someone with deep financial-markets knowledge to move beyond traditional trading, risk or valuation roles and play a direct role in how a technology product evolves.
What You'll Be Doing
- Act as a subject-matter expert across a specialist asset class, with a focus on FX, Credit or Commodities.
- Work directly with clients and financial-market professionals to understand their requirements and challenges.
- Translate complex market and derivatives concepts into clear requirements for technical teams.
- Contribute to product design, challenge existing approaches and identify opportunities to improve the product.
- Bridge the gap between financial markets, clients and technology in a growing fintech environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
