Position Overview
Mindray UK is currently looking to hire a Product Specialist for General Care to support the growth of our Patient Monitoring and Life Support (PMLS) business. The role will report to the Sales and Marketing Manager, PMLS, and act as product owner for Mindray’s vital signs monitors, ECG machines and M-Wear patient wearable solutions, while also supporting accessories and consumables growth within the patient monitoring business.
The postholder will provide product expertise, commercial support and sales enablement to the UK Sales Team. They will work alongside the modality team of specialists covering other product lines, the Marketing Manager to support product launches and marketing materials, the Clinical Application Team to support training activity, and the Tender Manager to ensure submissions are accurate, competitive and aligned to customer requirements.

Essential Job Functions
- Act as product owner and subject matter expert for Mindray’s General Care portfolio, including vital signs monitors, ECG machines and M-Wear patient wearable solutions.
- Work with the Sales Team to generate profitable sales growth across the General Care portfolio.
- Drive growth of accessories and consumables within the patient monitoring business, working with the Sales Team to identify opportunities, improve attachment rates and support recurring revenue development.
- Support pricing strategy, commercial positioning and sales strategy for General Care products in line with business objectives.
- Provide product guidance, sales tools and training to ensure the Sales Team has the knowledge and confidence to promote the portfolio effectively.
- Present and demonstrate products to internal teams, customers and external stakeholders as required.
- Arrange, manage and support product demonstrations, trials and clinical evaluations, ensuring clear objectives, appropriate follow-up and effective customer engagement.
- Support pre-sales activity by providing technical and clinical product expertise during customer engagement, demonstrations and solution discussions.
- Work closely with the Tender Manager to support tender submissions, ensuring product responses, pricing inputs and proposed solutions are accurate, compelling and aligned to customer requirements.
- Support national framework and procurement activity relating to the General Care portfolio, including NHS Supply Chain and other relevant routes to market.
- Maintain clear product information flow between the UK, Europe and HQ, representing UK market requirements and customer feedback.
- Support product launches and lifecycle activity, ensuring readiness before products are promoted to market.
- Work alongside the Marketing Manager to support product launches, campaign planning and the development of product-related marketing materials.
- Work alongside the Clinical Application Team to support product training, ensuring clinical colleagues have the information and tools required to deliver effective customer training.
- Collaborate with the wider modality team of specialists to ensure alignment across product lines, customer solutions and sales support activity.
- Establish strong relationships with targeted customers and identify opportunities for business expansion.
- Interpret market, competitor and customer feedback and communicate relevant insights to the marketing and sales teams.
- Keep technical, clinical and market knowledge up to date across the General Care portfolio.
- Participate in national and regional congresses, exhibitions and customer events as required.
- Follow internal processes and communicate effectively with all departments within Mindray.

Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in a product specialist, clinical specialist, product management or commercial sales support role within medical devices or healthcare technology.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring, vital signs, ECG, connected care or wearable patient monitoring solutions would be advantageous.
- Clinical background or strong understanding of clinical workflows in general care, ward, outpatient or diagnostic settings would be beneficial.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to support pricing, sales strategy and customer-facing product positioning.
- Experience supporting demonstrations, evaluations, trials or tender responses is desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation and training skills, with the ability to engage internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision.
- Analytical and commercially minded, with the ability to interpret market feedback and support business planning.
- Dynamic, collaborative and able to work effectively as part of a wider sales, marketing, tender, modality and clinical application team.
- The ability to travel up to 50% of the time is required.
