Product Specialist Digital Orthodontics

Responsible for supporting customers through direct contact in the area of specialism. Responsible for implementing training and development initiatives that build capabilities within the sales organisation and with customers, leading to consistent sales growth. Additional responsibility for supporting internal teams with broad knowledge of Specialist Field to effectively compete in the dental environment of speciality. Strong, collaborative relationship with stakeholders internally (Sales team, HR, Marketing, CE, Customer Service) and externally (Customers, KOLs) critical to ensure consistent sales of the Dentsply Sirona Workflow.


Role and responsibilities

  • Inputs all customer call and contact activity into SFDC
  • Supports customers queries and product knowledge gaps to maximise growth opportunities
  • Performs to the RCO daily activity expectations of co-travels and Customer Facing Event as relevant
  • Coordinates and conducts meetings and product training sessions with a variety of audiences, including customers, to build product knowledge
  • Address customer complaints in an appropriate and professional manner. Escalating concerns as required by current processes.
  • Engages clinicians and staff directly via webinars /Team calls and in-office trainings (either delivering those lectures/trainings or supporting those who do)
  • In collaboration with stakeholders (management, sales teams, marketing, SBU etc), responsible for creation of training curriculum (including onboarding) in specialist area for the Dentsply Sirona field sales team
  • Co-Travels with field sales personnel to support key customers onboarding/growth as and when required
  • Primary contact for the UKI organisation, Marketing, CE and SBU on product and workflow knowledge relating to specialist area
  • At the forefront of trends in area of speciality, reporting to relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborates with stakeholders (e.g. Marketing/CE) on the content of CE events and New Product Launch execution
  • Awareness of new regulations according to regional differences
  • Collaborate with UKI Product Specialist team to ensure a consistent approach
  • Collaborate and align priorities with Sales Managers across UKI

Profile requested

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Prior successful training background preferred

  • Prior successful sales background

  • Ability to meet goals and key performance objectives

  • Expertise in product knowledge and relevant clinical procedures (in specified area)

  • Planning & Organisation skills

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Ability to build effective lesson/learning plans

  • Strong Communication skills

  • Must display interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with customers, employees, and others in a professional and tactful manner, with experience in resolving conflict and problem solving

  • Ability to read, understand and interpret complex and detailed information related to dental workflow procedures in specialist area and ability to communicate to diverse audiences

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers

  • Strong understanding of sales processes and internal procedures

  • Able to work and travel as needed (including overnight) but where possible must drive the use of online presentations and online customer support
