Our team

The Technology Products Team was initially created in 2018 to focus on working with legal teams and clients to develop our outward facing technology solutions and further increase our innovation offering. We at Eversheds Sutherland understand the need to ensure the fundamentals are delivered across the firm, but also that there will be a growing need to look at emerging and innovative technology to allow the firm to continue to deliver a quality service to our Clients.

The Team focuses on how we can improve the service we deliver to our Clients across the firm, whether that’s through the use of technology, innovation or process improvements.

The Product Specialist acts as a key member of the Technology Products Team supporting the delivery of our Productivity Solutions strategy using their expertise and knowledge to enhance awareness and ensure the adoption of the solution in day to day practice whilst focussing on delivering an outstanding client experience.

The Productivity Solutions Team looks after a broad range of products, including bundling, translation, proof-reading and drafting tools, e-signature, diagramming, real estate tools and some of our AI tools.

Role and key responsibilities

The Product Specialist acts as a key member of the Team supporting the delivery of the Productivity Solutions Team strategy using their expertise & knowledge to enhance awareness and adoption of the solutions in day to day practice whilst focusing on delivering an outstanding client and user experience.

Product Specialists work with the Product Owner, Solutions Managers, Practice Groups and directly with clients on day to day activities to support the business requests for their products.

You will required to have a deep understanding of the products, help establish best practice within the team, and proactively work towards increasing our knowledge and usage of the product across both the wider Team and within the Practice Group Tech Teams. You will also have the autonomy to identify new opportunities with the product base and develop proof of concepts to pitch to the practice groups.

Primary responsibilities of the role:

  • Support in the delivery of the Productivity Solutions strategy aligned with the firm-wide strategy.
  • Embed yourself as an expert for our products, using analytic skills to define suitable and quality solutions to complex problems and estimate effort.
  • Proactively drive ongoing benefits across our products, by understanding stakeholder needs and requirements.
  • Act as a point of escalation for any unresolved issues identified by the Support Teams. Manage timely responses and communications with impacted users.
  • Take responsibility for any required maintenance of our products.
  • Promote awareness and adoption of our products including upskilling stakeholders across the Practice Groups.
  • Assist with the introduction and embedding of new solutions to ensure a seamless integration and use for lawyers and fee earners.
  • Apply agile project management and IT best practices to deliver excellent service.
  • Assist with any upgrades, integrations or configurations of existing solutions ensuring thorough testing and resolution of quality issues.
