Product Specialist
Holemaking
£46,000 - £48,000 + bonus, comm, FE car + benefits
National role requiring regular UK mainland travel
(You must be based within 90 minutes of the B15/B16 postcodes)
This successful, longstanding and hugely innovative organisation is one of the major players in the production of a superb range of carbide metalworking products including Turning, Milling, Grooving and Boring. In order to further strength their team, they are seeking a talented Product Specialist for Holemaking.
Responsibilities
- Providing technical support to customers, Area Sales Managers and internal teams
- Supporting customer trials, product testing, making technical evaluations and completing demonstrations and test reports
- Delivering product and application training to internal and external customers
- Supporting product launches, seminars and open houses
- Contributing to market research, competitor analysis and product strategy

Requirements
- Strong, hands on technical and application knowledge within the CNC sector gained via a technical apprenticeship or qualification
- Solid carbide tooling experience, particularly Milling and Drilling in sectors such as Aerospace and Automotive
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities
- Self-motivated, influential and possessing strong planning and organisational skills
- Comfortable working independently in a national role with overnight stays
- First class communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers and sales teams
