JOB OVERVIEW
The Partner Solutions Group is responsible for Hayfin’s capital formation, product development and client service activity. The objective of this role is to deliver on PSG and firm objectives by supporting the maintenance and enhancement of relationships and communications with both existing and prospective institutional investors. The Product Strategy team focuses on supporting relationship managers in their marketing efforts, providing regular reporting for all of Hayfin’s funds and SMAs and responding to information requests received from investors through due diligence questionnaires, requests for proposal and ad hoc questions. The role will have direct engagement with current investors as well as direct involvement in the business development and fundraising efforts.
This role is offered as an initial 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. There may be the possibility of a permanent position at the end of the contract, subject to business needs and individual performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Development & Strategy
- Create and develop existing content for marketing and due diligence materials such as PPMs, pitch books, and DDQs alongside other members of the Direct Lending and Private Equity Solutions team
- Build credible working knowledge of the Direct Lending and Private Equity Solutions investments, developments and market dynamics
- Manage product lifecycle from pre-launch to final close, with a focus on understanding of fund structures and LP negotiations, and establishing a basic understanding of competitor terms and landscape
- Assist Coverage in creating a global marketing strategy pre-launch, acting as a project management throughout the fundraising process
- Provide best in class client service to existing partners, exhibiting sound judgement when handling LP matters
- Liaise across functions to obtain and synthesize information from the investment teams, legal, tax, operations, finance and accounting teams to deliver on client objectives and enhance client experience

Relationship Management Support
- Day to day ad hoc communication with clients (email, telephone, in person)
- Prepare presentations, handouts, analysis and briefing packs ahead of client meetings
- Participation in and contribute to face-to-face client meetings when needed
- Work with senior team members to develop and maintain project plans for major/ongoing initiatives
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Required
- 2-6 years of relevant experience in the Private Credit Industry
- Strong written and verbal communication, as well as numerical and analytical skills
- Relevant undergraduate degree (finance, economics, business etc.)
- Modelling skills in Microsoft Excel and be capable of producing first-rate presentation materials
Preferred
- Working knowledge of Direct Lending and Private Equity Solutions strategies
- Experience in marketing, sales, client communication etc
- Technical financial modelling and analysis training and experience
