Product Strategy Associate

The Purpose
Help keep OQC’s product portfolio moving by turning cross-functional discussions into clear plans, decisions, and action.
As our Product Strategy Associate, you’ll bring structure to work across product, engineering, and commercial teams, helping colleagues stay coordinated and focused on agreed milestones. You’ll maintain a reliable view of progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring everyone understands what needs to happen next, who is responsible, and when actions are due.
The Role
This is an early-career, associate-level opportunity, suited to a technical graduate or someone with initial consulting experience who wants to build a career in product strategy and delivery. The emphasis is on hands-on coordination, supporting decisions, and ensuring follow-through, rather than senior product or strategy leadership.
Working within Product Management and reporting to the VP Product Management, you’ll be an individual contributor based in London, connecting product, engineering, commercial, and leadership teams.

You’ll keep plans and documentation current, capture decisions, and follow up on commitments. You don’t need to be a deep technical specialist, but you should be comfortable engaging with technical material and confident asking senior stakeholders for clarity, decisions, and updates.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Maintain project plans and delivery trackers across OQC’s product portfolio, keeping activity aligned with agreed milestones.
- Track risks and dependencies, giving teams and leaders a clear, reliable view of progress.
- Turn discussions into concise meeting notes, decision logs, and actions with named owners and deadlines.
- Collate project documentation, technical inputs, and customer-facing materials to support coordinated delivery.
- Connect product, engineering, commercial, and leadership teams, helping keep projects synchronized and relevant information visible.
- Follow up on decisions and commitments, ensuring agreed actions translate into progress.
What We’re Looking For
- A technical graduate or junior consulting background, with confidence working across product, engineering, and commercial teams.
- Comfort working with technical material, without needing to be a deep technical specialist.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to turn loosely structured discussions into clear notes, actions, owners, and deadlines.
- Confidence and persistence when following up with senior stakeholders to secure decisions, commitments, and completed actions.
- A degree, or equivalent practical experience, in product management, engineering, business, or a related discipline.

The ‘Nice-to-Haves’
- Experience working on enterprise platforms, data products, or regulated customer deployments.
- Familiarity with quantum or hybrid classical-quantum products.
- A pragmatic, curious approach and comfort working in a fast-evolving technical environment.
- A relevant professional or postgraduate qualification.
